Victor Piñeiro is the author of The Island of Forgotten Gods, a middle grade novel that received a Pura Belpré Honor from the American Library Association and was named a Kirkus Best Book of the Year and an Amazon Book of the Month. His debut novel, Time Villains, won the International Latino Book Award (Gold) for Best First Children’s Book and was also named a Kirkus Best Book of the Year.

Victor’s also leads digital innovation at HBO Max, ran social media for YouTube & Skittles, designed games for Hasbro, wrote and produced an award-winning documentary on virtual worlds, and taught third graders.
